Directions for arrival from Stromness ferry terminal:

From the ferry terminal, turn right onto the A965 towards Kirwkwall. Follow the road for approximately 7 miles through Stenness to Finstown. In Finstown take the first road on the right (the church is on the corner). Follow this unclassified road up to the top of the hill, past a quarry. As you start descending the south side of the hill, take the first track on the right by a white painted cottage, gable end on to the road. Follow the track for quarter of a mile past a modern bungalow to the old farm steading which is Ouraquoy.

Directions for arrival from Kirkwall ferry terminal:

From the ferry, drive up to a T junction and turn right. Turn right again at another T junction shortly afterwards on the A965 towards Stromness. After about 6 miles you come to Finstown. Drive past the garage on your left and a builder's merchants and turn left at the church. Follow this unclassified road up to the top of the hill, past a quarry. As you start descending the south side of the hill, take the first track on the right by a white painted cottage, gable end on to the road. Follow the track for quarter of a mile past a modern bungalow to the old farm steading which is Ouraquoy.
